NOTE: These are both for cycling rather then running. In cycling they have delved a bit deeper into this then running so there are much more resources out there, but I think it gives you a good idea. We can't take quite as much in running as cycling due to the nature of our sports - running/eating is much more likely to result in GI issues. Pretty much in running you have to see what your stomach can tolerate and go a lot based off that I think. If you struggle with it you can also train yourself to get better at it so give it a go :)
