Today on the podcast is a US Champ, Freddie Crittenden!
This is one of my all-time favorite episodes of the podcast. Freddie's story is nothing short of inspiring, and boy, am I fired up after listening to it.
For those that aren't familiar, Freddie is a talented track and field athlete known for his exceptional hurdling skills. Throughout his career, he has participated in various prestigious events and achieved notable successes. At the 2019 IAAF World Relays, he earned a gold medal in the shuttle hurdles relay. Additionally, he secured a silver medal in the 110m hurdles at the 2019 Pan American Games. His achievements extend to international events, including a gold medal at the 2016 NACAC U23 Championships, gold at the 2022 NACAC Champions, and a bronze at the 2019 Nanjing World Challenge. Recently, he won the 2023 US Track and Field Indoor Championships in the 60mH. Most recently, Freddie placed third at the 2023 US Championships in Eugene earlier this month in the 100mH sending him to the World Championships held in Budapest next month.
In this conversation, Freddie goes through working two jobs in addition to track, having his boss be his wife, almost quitting track, his start in the sport, his future ambitions in the sport, his journey with media, and much more! This episode will leave you more than motivated to chase after your biggest goals.
