Altra Lone Peak 9+ review - first run and first impressions. I’m back testing an Altra trail running shoe in today’s video - this time, it’s the brand new Altra Lone Peak 9+! The Lone Peak is one of Altra’s most popular trail running shoes, and this latest version comes with some exciting updates, including the addition of a Vibram MegaGrip rubber outsole for improved grip. The last time I ran in a Lone Peak was with the Lone Peak 7 on the stunning Cornish coast path, where they performed really well. But how does the Lone Peak 9+ compare?
