Michael Haskin of Asheville HS (NC) wins the NCHSAA 4A State Championship in an EXTREMELY narrow victory over Philip Blum of Riverside HS (NC). The last lap determined the race where Haskin leaned in for a .02 second victory. The final times were 4:14.92 for Haskin and 4:14.94 for Blum in the 1600m at JDL Fast Track (200m Flat Track).
