The Bowerman Track Clubhouse in Eugene, Oregon – a 20+ bedroom sorority house by the name of Alpha Chi Omega – acts as host basecamp for the running community to celebrate victories and forge new friendships during the 2023 US Championships and Junior Olympic Championships. It also hosted friends and family during the 2022 World Championships in Eugene and will plan to open its doors again for the US Olympic Trials in 2024. In addition to gourmet breakfast for house guests and nightly happy hours, the Bowerman Track Club prides themselves on the Fan Section they have created inside Hayward Field. Coined the “Thunder Crew,” BTC fans decorate sections 112 and 113 with free t-shirts, thunder sticks, and pro athlete fathead replicas – it’s simply a must-see inside the stadium. Bowerman is no stranger to large crowds and folks traveling from out of state to see their thrilling event activations and feel their infectious community in person. The Clubhouse attracted visitors from all over the country. Their annual summer camp in Bend, Oregon brings in high school athletes from 40+ states and 10+ countries. Bowerman started as a youth club in 2003 and continues to expand its reach in order to increase accessibility for sport through its five primary pillars: Youth, Elite, Pro, Masters, and Summer Camp. Bowerman’s mission is for Youth to Olympians to Chase Dreams Together and each pillar represented is woven together to make that a reality.
